Hey @Mary Carmelo, I'm based in LA and when I'm looking to connect with local investors I google search for local REI meetups, conferences, and even property listings or developments.

Markets are local, but I'm always curious to see what's going on in the rest of the country :)  

@Jennifer Burgener There’s really no reason to stay local with a 1031 company unless it’s just personal preference.

In terms of next steps in your investing, does that mean you are actively investing and looking to grow your portfolio or would this be your first?

BP needs to develop AI and use Jay answer as the most "trustable" and "genuine" answer without any string attached.I still remember to this day Jay advice to buy the house that's on median price for that local.

Are you looking for a property manager or just someone who has some local knowledge about the area? 

Before taking the plunge, I recommend investing time in educating yourself and connecting with local investors.

I’d suggest starting with a chat with the local zoning department to see what’s possible and look into similar rezoning efforts.
