Or maybe it's because of the age of the property which is built in the 1920s, but many homes in my market are built during that era so I can't imagine the whole city paying these astronomical policy fees. 

Recommendations based on personal experience would be highly appreciated.Also, if you have additional info / best practices you would like to share regarding homeowners insurance that would be great.Thanks, Guy

We look on there for retreads and aged properties to see if the owner would do a big drop from asking that other buyers have forgotten about.It's not our main source for locating properties just a very small piece.
