Sell your current home and build on the land?

Investing is a great way to build on generational wealth, you will be required to take risks.

Any opinions on best construction financing right now ? I’m a builder/developer I’m central Texas. 

If your goal is to flip and you get good at marketing, you may end up with a wholesaling business, but I wouldn't try to build a wholesaling business.

For newly constructed, purchased or renovated properties and also retroactive generally over the last 10 years, building components are properly classified into individual units of property and accurate recovery periods for computing depreciation deductions.

My 3-5-year goal is to build the portfolio using LTR purchases to grow some cash flow and equity, ideally purchasing multi-family units in tandem with SFHs.

I am, but for some reason I see the potential as this property comes with grants and is a historic building with permits allowing for multi-units.

I am currently planning on purchasing a piece of land and building a spec house on it to sell.
