You need someone there to keep an eye on it between renters.  

I know every parent says they keep an eye on their children (yeah right) but then again things happen.

We are eye-balling some other properties (one multi) here in town.

Good point Jon, I usually try to make it short, sometimes things are more involved and still only scratch the surface.I do skim long posts, those asking a question but first have to tell us how many kids they have, hobbies, favorite dinner, favorite song, color of hair and eyes, not sure if they are asking a real estate question or trying to date someone. ;)I just can't resist mentioning my old buddy from the Sunshine State;@Dion DePaoli  LOL :)

There is one on the MLS that I am eyeing as a possible 203K rehab loan but that will have to happen after we find a place to live. 

Good plan starting in an area were the friends and family can keep an eye on things for you.See you around the forums.
