Im looking to expand myself in the real estate area and would love to surround myself with good spirits and helpful advice.

The one I recommend is the Micahel Jake Real Estate Investors meetup which can be found on meetup.com and the other is ICOR which can be easily googled.

I wouldn't wait to pay off the first before expanding.  

I am a newbie and look forward to expanding my skill set in the real estate investing world!

@Minh Le: Actually Uber is no longer expanding and is already starting to tighten their belts, they've downsized the number of call center personnel they're using in their customer service call center.

My goal is to build up a portfolio around my area and then eventually expand.
