If you've never owned a home, you could look into buying a duplex or something for you to move into and rent the other half. 

I don't feel like I missed out, because I've given myself the first half of this year to learn, and plan to start making offers with a goal of connecting one property H2 2020.

I have read several bigger pockets guides, which let me to read half a dozen books, and I’ve listened to about 100 podcast episodes.

I did that the last year and a half which allowed me to really progress in my job, hopefully you can do the same!

If it takes you 6 months, that's half a year, so you'd pay half of the 6% for a 3% cost to the project.

Check onlinejobs.ph to cut that price in half if you will.

Not much luck so far, it's not the easiest sell regardless if these parks print money or not. 

I formed an LLC, and put a lien against the property for the $11,000 plus interest a month after we had already commenced work and had spent over half the 11k (VERY stupid and would never do again!!)

I currently have (1) duplex that i'm house hacking in, collecting about half the mortgage as payment and covering the other half with my day job income.

The units were half way through conversion when it was sold to current owner about a year ago.
