The OTC are sometimes sold at any time, but many counties that sell OTC liens are moving to a one time sale of all OTC liens each year.Your best bet for a monthly investment is finding smaller counties that allow you to call them and buy OTC at any time during the year.

You can't possibly keep up with all the details, while still paying attention to your RE buying.Your best bet is to find a good tax accountant, have him review your processes to make sure you're not missing something you didn't know to provide him with, and have an annual tax review with him.

It just takes a lot of time and even with 4 properties for 2011 the return was 21 pages long.Unless you are an EXPERT on real estate taxes, I would bet money you are making errors.

Heck, they don't even accept wires, due to the time required confirming reinstatements and payoffs.Your best bet is to figure the wire time to check clearing time into your equation.
