Hello,I'm an investor with small portfolio in Florida and have not been able to clarify this question.I have owned for many years a corporation (C-corp) and pay myself a salary via a W-2 just like any other employee of the company.

In my opinion, Home Union's fees are unreasonable and reading through their glassdoor reviews it appears that the company has low employee satisfaction and issues raised in the reviews gave me pause on trusting them to manage a property.

Laura Olds If you have no employees you can consider having an entity which has W-2 income and open a solo 401k which you can contribute larger contributions to it.

@Adam CousleyAs long as you (or a spouse, if applicable) do not have any full time employees, the Solo 401k is likely the better option.

Your CPA will be happy, and it's easier to track business profit/loss/expenses, etc.3- You look professional and legit.You don't need an office or paid employees to become a successful wholesaler.

I was then curious on how that process would work if I did pay the property management company and then I paid myself as the employee would I then be able to take my earnings from being the property manager and reinvest them into the investment LLC.
