Will there be a meetup site or is BP the main reminder?

I discovered this site last night when I should have been sleeping, when I was researching passive income.

I ended up on bigger pockets when searching for an online community of like minded individuals whose passion is real estate investing (so glad I found this site). 

and my fiancee and I are looking to create about $5,000 a month in passive income, so that I can afford to work less and we can travel together during the summers (which he has off).I'm thinking that I should begin by house hacking since we are currently paying 2,000/mo in rent.  

I am currently researching the history of our home/property and never knew this site existed.

Purchase a home via the LLC for 70K. 30K expenses ( includes rehab, travel, realtor expenses etc).

The most I do is look at the properties, put in offers, sign contracts and visit the job sites to make sure everything is running smoothly.
