I would try to find people who are in the position you want to be, try to provide them some type of value, and ask how they did it. 

Mom and pop NY brokerages would be a better option, but they will have no training or systems, but will hold your license while you look.

I just don't see a big enough difference between the RentRedi and all of the other free softwares to justify spending $9/month.Long story short: Why should I use RentRedi compared to the free options out there?

I can definitely tell you there's still a lot of positive cash flowing and 1% rule deals and you get amazing appreciation.
