Can you even buy deals that cash flow in the hottest market in the country?

I was able to quickly re rent the home but it did take a lot of time, effort, and expense (I live across the country). 

In my humble opinion, I would take your large chunk of cash and invest it into much more properties in other cheaper areas of the country and find other lodging alternatives when you're on island.  

Its algorithms can hone in on every geographical location in the Country by zip code.

CBRE came up during my research for brokers and they have been pretty helpful so far in finding banks/CU's across the country that will meet my requirements.
