This doesn't have to be going all in financially, but at least mentally.  

Single Family is mental a prerequisite that many fall into.

Have half a brain, be mentally strong and you WILL make it if you work as hard as I have!

I am wondering if these mentalities are making it impossible to close deals.I have not closed one yet, and a couple of my mentors are calling me out saying that I have been doing this for long enough now that I should have closed something by now.

Yes, the new PC term is "mentally challenged" (or something like that).

Everyone has an ego, in psychology we have an "Id" that little character that sits on your shoulder telling you how great you are, we have a mental picture of ourselves as to our social acceptance, this picture needs to be somewhat fairly assessed to be mentally healthy, too much of a higher opinion makes you egotistical and too little is low self esteem, that breads anxiety and depression.     

I added this newsbit to my my mental checklist, but when I asked my realtor about it a few years ago, she had never heard of it.

And unless you know how to on purpose take a conversation to 65% this business will kill you mentally and financially. 

I'll be curious to see what the costs are when you include the amount of time and mental effort that it takes to put all this together. 

Mental fortitude is key.
