Even though I am from Long Island I will most likely begin my investing career in Dutchess County, New York for a few reasons.

Yeah this is definitely true since taxes and interest are two of the largest financial vampires.

There is high rental demand in Bridgeport as the largest city in Connecticut and its only 50 min from NYC.  

If you haven't looked into the C-site dam, that will the largest job in Western canada if not canada going - oil's at a standstill which put s down the big four sites up north at maybe 60 percent man power if not less. c-site is a ten year ish job to. 

In the mean time, I don't mind answering any questions you may have. 2736 Bolch Street in Anderson Island shows some promise if a first time home buyer doesn't jump on it.
