I would consult an attorney in your area to see what the courts have been ruling as a "fair amount of time to find a tenant" - if they generally only give 2 months then ask for 2 but if they give 3....He is legally required but doesn't mean he won't just bail.Oh - also - if he is joining the Military or needs to break it for a military reason I am pretty sure you have to let him break it.
