Is that 60 single family and you want to go to 200 single family, or do you want to add one 140 door apartment building?

My dad is a general contractor, who builds custom homes,  and my mom is a part-time real estate agent.

My wife and I are about to launch our first STR and want to build systems and processes from the get-go. 

I also owned a 1 br 1 bath 1,000 f2 condo in the same building and was NOT able to get anywhere near the same premium for furnished.   

With a bit of decor and management savvy you can easily be in the top quarter or even 10% without needing to build a waterpark in your backyard and bring in influencers for your photos. 

It's great that you're looking for a warmer place and good real estate opportunities.With your incomes and careful planning, you're set up well to build a successful portfolio while keeping costs reasonable.

Additionally, I'll continue to build equity in the other home with a renter.Now, I may be able to make $10,000 if I sold the home but it just seems as if building the equity would be a better option. 

I'm considering building a few on a large piece of land near a local college in San Diego.

The building is 60+ years old, in which there is no evidence of visible mold, no mildew smell.
