It will give you the sense of accomplishment that the loan is paid off and then you can use that money to start paying off other loans.Run the numbers to see which works best in terms of how much you are actually saving and the time it would take.Once you've paid off one mortgage, you can use the money from the extra payments along with the original mortgage to start paying down others.
