Let me expand on my short response.#1) Can I do my own property management on my own using Airbnb, VRBO and Homeaway using my computer or cell phone or is it best to hire a professional property management company that will take 30 to 40% of the profits?

This is in Florida, but the concept was interested and seemed to work (and is expanding).  

But another consideration is any potential property tax increase...Expand if you need the space, but understand that it will cost more annually long after the work is done...

I'm native to the region so I am going to utilize my personal community to expand my understanding of the markets around here.

I currently have a rental going on and would like to expand the scope to Flip and/or BRRR. 

The toilet and sink were switched which created a costly plumbing issue if we wanted to reverse it it back to where they should be (we are in a highrise) so we left it alone, but this also caused us to not be able to expand the bathroom further.

Try to aim for a 3-6 month timeline but you can expand to 12 months for lack of comps and inventory. 

But we thought since expanding one's network is a big part of that business, it would be a good way to expand our reach.

Once established, I plan to expand into the rest of the Tri-state area. 

They may suggest expanding or contracting your line of credit and other resources to get you to where you want to be.
