I’m working with my father on managing his RE portfolio.We have one multi family property that is fully paid off and generates roughly $200k in NOI/Cash Flow.

Hi all,I purchased a 3-unit multi family back in December 2019 for roughly $315k.

My wife and I started in RE having come from no significant family money.

Imagine if you had one single-family home.

I am not that concerned right now given I think there will always be mechanisms in place to avoid it (move into one of the units as an owner, move a family member in, do another renovation, etc) but want to make sure I am not making a big mistake here.Thanks all!

I have no family and I work in Real Estate 7 days a week.

My turnovers have tended to come because of someone’s need to relocate for a job or family reason as opposed to any other reason.

My long term goal at the end of my investment journey is to enjoy the journey, play the long game, and  have enough income from my investments that keeps my family well and financially independent.
