@Abraham Kaplan, governments and universities have strong employment drivers, and major universities also tend to drive outside employment as well, due to the knowledge centers being produced.  

In my option, today with HGTV and The University of YOUTUBE many people get into flipping houses thinking it is easy.

Our jobs (mine, my wife, potential roommates) are in the Med Center as well as the University of Houston so being in the inner loop is crucial to the location of the property.
