The bank will want you to personally guarantee these loans so the deed and mortgage will be recorded with your name.You might be able to put in a trust after the fact if this didn't trigger the due on sale clause.

One thing that combats the seasonality issue is that Sparkling Hill Resort is up there, and I'd imagine short-term rentals would be a good secondary option to Sparkling Hill/Predator Ridge Resort, as well as for special event accommodations (weddings, parties, etc.).Understanding your post was from almost a year ago, did you ever pull the trigger up there or anywhere else in the area?

Yes I’d suggest as a step 1, house hack or at least lock up a good primary residence with built in equity, potential to flip, or somewhere where strong appreciation is probable.
