My understanding of Dealer Status is that if you are flipping on terms (in my case: buy on terms, fix -or not-, then sell on terms) then you lose the ability to be taxed as an installment sale where your gain is spread out over the term of your note.

Of course there's areas that still work but my main question right now is:People that have spread their investments through Stocks, Real Estate, and Crypto - would you recommend saving my money in a saving account right now (which isn't really growing) or Investing it elsewhere for the time being and when I find the right deal?

Within real estate my strategy would be to split that 200k, or whatever is left, into as much diversity as possible, maybe putting it into a local property and maybe a few partnerships spread across different geographies, asset classes, operators and other factors. 50k can get you into most partnerships and some have even lower barriers to entry.
