Thank you @Ned Carey I took this investment course on line,  im putting the piece of puzzle together. 

I just got my interest peaked in my crazy online search for and affordable real estate investment but haven't the slightest clue as to if I should even begin to peruse just for informational purposes or actually roll up my sleeves and go for it.

If they own several they are obviously investors.Once you get a response from the seller of the vacant house, negotiate a deal to buy it for all cash and get it under contract.

Sydnie, the first place to start would be by signing up for a real estate class, either online or in person, to get qualify to take the TREC licensing test.I don't believe I'm allowed to post links, but go to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) website, and it will guide you through the steps.Your age/appearance could deter some potential clients, but we all have some aspects that both deter and attract people.  

I am interested to hear responses as well.

I want to clarify that I completed the form online for the LLC and obtained it and I applied for the EIN also on line and obtained that number.
