Some credit card companies go one step further for our vets and offer 4% interest on PRE-existing debt, while others yet (I think it's Citibank and Barclays issued cards) offer an eye popping 0% interest on pre-existing credit card debt.

No joke, If you show that you have a steady job for at least 2 years you can apply for a loan from a bank. 2) Pay your current and future bills on time, don't be late with payments.3) Keep your credit score above 700 4) Apply for a credit card if you don't have one and use it.. this shows you can handle the responsibility of paying back money and helps your credit score.5) Don't borrow money from family or friends..

In my market the average home price is under 250k, but I get my clients a gift card and then a nice christmas ornament on year 1, and have a follow up system in place for years 2-10.
