If you have experience with either one of these please comment.

Cozy.co or mysmartmove.com?

I take checks, money grams or cashier checks but my college aged tenants want a online or better way to transfer rent. I currently use Mysmartmove for screening and realize they have FREE money collection as renters would pay based on their method. Some people have directed me to Cozy, so overall which site is best for rent collection and also background screening ?

Is one better than the other?

Thank you for any input that would be helpful!!

I have Cozy, but only one tenant uses it. The others use Venmo or checks. I let the tenants decide what is easiest for them, makes no difference to me as long as it comes on or before the first of the month. Just don’t accept cash, it’s a recipe for disaster.

Good thing about cozy is you know when the payment is initiated, which means it has been paid. The bad thing is it usually takes 5-7 days to transfer to your bank account.
