At first I thought AirBnB was trying to protect me from a problem booking but then I did some googling and found the following thread. https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosting/Is-Airbnb-replacing-Hosts-with-Hotels/td-p/1273241I also find it odd that AirBnB would direct the guest to book hotels they manage rather than bump them from the platform altogether, especially if it's a problem booking. 

They encourage me to get into it, but just warn me about the horrors that they had to endure as landlords.

I'd encourage you to check out StayFi, so you can collect emails from all your guests (not just the booker), and then send them an automated email when they log into WiFi.

At a high level though it seems that the strategy that worked best before the pandemic is the one that you must use during the pandemic and that is to build an educational platform to gather people.

@Wa Chan I would always encourage this: When comparing a potential real estate investment to a stock market investment, decide what your lowest number of Cash on cash ROI is going to be and lowest amount of cash flow per unit.I look for 8% Cocroi and 150 per unit cash flow.
