They post events on this app called Meetups and it's one way to meet other investors in the area.

I have the app and looked in my general area but everything is very pricey commercial real estate.

Have not used the rent collection aspect, as that is a relatively new feature and I'm not sure it has all of the benefits I would like to see in such an app.

Get the people to fill out a simple lease app(find on online), and a bank statement.

Has anyone else had trouble searching the Marketplace on an iPhone?

I am thinking of creating of group of people more likely what's app or something. where people can talk and share information. as we all are out of state we can help each other. we all have very similar issue.

I've noticed that whenever I try to open a PRO thread on my iPhone, using the BP app, the app crashes.

If you are not totaly against paying for software tools that help save your time :) you can try mobile apps like Landlordy, Property Buddy or DIY Landlord (disclaimer - I'm the author of the first one) - they'll help you deal with income and expense tracking with convinience (much better than Excel, in my opinion thanks to integration with camera for receipts and email/messages integration).

I'm currently using Podio with a built in app suite for REI that is doing the job, I really like investor fuse but need some time to grow into it.
