I came across a couple properties that I thought were worth a little more of a deep dive but I didn't get much info from the clerk I talked to at the Police Department so I figured I'd reach out to the BP community instead of just relying on Trulia's crime maps.

We are using Redfin/Trulia/Zillow etc as our main source of info.

I'll try to monitor this thread so I can jump in with any info that would be beneficial to you and the others. 

I believe I'm knowledgeable about real estate for my age and ready to get my feet wet purchasing my first property.
