I decided I wasn't doing myself any favors by just dreaming about being financially free, so I dove feet first into the pit and now I'm deeply invested in stocks, IRAs, you name it.

So I don't have to tell her to have smaller dreams to fit my budget.  

We decided to move to south America for a year (Paraguay) so she could live her dream of helping kids with special needs in Latin American countries.

Kudos for following your dream, and putting in the sweat time and effort.

I dont want to stomp on anyones dreams.

As a kid I always dreamed of being a successful businessman. 

In Oregon I hope we will stop pouring money into windmills/solar panels and get some guys back out there logging and our mills going, (that is a dream too many Californians here now they would never allow that).  

Life dreams, empowerment and all that are great, but the math is the math.
