This was cheaper and faster than eviction for me, left me with a clean and rent-ready unit, and saved their credit.If they had demanded $3,000 in cash, in addition to being let off the hook for unpaid rent, and the return of their security deposit, then I would fear that I had developed a soft reputation and I would fear that I was becoming a target for professional tenants.
