Commercial is great until there's a vacancy, which can be frequent because new businesses fail so often, and they can last a long time. 

So yea, Im a big fan of tree trimming as an owner/property manger.

I'm personally a fan of multi-family properties, so maybe look at small apartments or quadplexes in your area.
