At first I thought AirBnB was trying to protect me from a problem booking but then I did some googling and found the following thread. https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Hosting/Is-Airbnb-replacing-Hosts-with-Hotels/td-p/1273241I also find it odd that AirBnB would direct the guest to book hotels they manage rather than bump them from the platform altogether, especially if it's a problem booking.
