@Sam Shinn things to consider before buying from the state: 1. ensure it’s not on the blight list (based on your description) because the city could well be on their way to DEMO it.

I know turnkey is advertised to new investors but I think it is for people that know what they are doing and just don't want to be physically involved.

I think that some turnkey buyers are more comfortable with a physical asset instead of say stocks, bonds, etc.

You might as well be a scammer or a fraud because the end result is the same.

Well look into the details before you immediately consider the fella a twisted pervert ( and he may very well be ) It’s possible him as a 18 yr old and his girlfriend at 17 got busted fooling around or he was peeing in public and got spotted by a passerby .

These protected classes are race, color, sex, national origin, family status (e.g. can't refuse to rent to a pregnant lady), mental/physical disability, and religion. 

I'm considering local to start off so I can physically be at the property but being able to do long distance certainly expands the horizon for more opportunities.
