My job doesn't have the best work/life balance and it's something we're hoping to change using the power of real estate.My wonderful partner and I want to focus primarily on multi-family dwelling rentals using a buy and hold strategy. 

I like to think of it in terms of leveraging your money and where that money is best spent.  15-20 years of life span on asphalt and let your tenants pay for it over time or pay upfront and let someone else inherit the savings long after your gone.

At this point in my uncle's life, with a VERY ill wife, etc, he does not want to own the property anymore and has offered to finance it for me so I can renovate or build a new house to sell.  

My goal in life is to have schedule freedom.

So I think your good with only a 20 year life of those lines so farIf you think it’s a deal killer...please send the deal my way and we can take a look at whether we can take it down.

Numerous properties have been catchIng my eye lately that either have pools or waterfront.

The elderly you hear die are often in nursing homes or alone at home where no one give a crap about them and they cant take care of themselves....yes it happens...but if you are physically capable of taking some action, the risks are very very tinyI would treat it the same way I would treat it for my own family...... not paying big $$ to fix it as an emergency...... fans, portable AC units, going to the mall or the movies or somewhere cooler for the day....suck it up....life will go on while I get it taken care of as promptly as possible...urgent....but not an emergency in 99.9999% of cases.The portable AC units are the best solution...... will do a decent job while you get the solution to the bigger problem figured out.

I have been trying to read more and more and I just finished the books Rich Dad Poor Dad and Set for Life.
