Can't say I am too happy about the fact that someone decided it would be a good idea to include an entrance on my street(a small and fairly narrow residential street which does not need additional traffic). 

There's a lot of space between "fair" and "war zone" so try to narrow it down a bit.

Narrow it down to exactly what you are interested in and then someone familiar with that type of property can provide you a specific answer.

The most amazing  Feat was I was painting the west side of narrow lap siding. 

Low slanting roofs such as on the dormer are always a problem area for leaks.It might also be possible to put a narrow balcony in front of the dormer to break up the flat appearance.
