I don't watch the news...I watch the actual news conference.I read actual reports, and not interpretations.I realize that any economic impact on purchases, business, investments, etc...aren't based on an economic problem, they're based on a temporary medical problem.I firmly believe, the medical problem will be solved in a short enough period of time and will not have any long term major negative impact on the economy.I know that when the "hounds are released", any negatives that might have happened to the economy, will bounce back and head north faster than it went south because of a built up demand...and the fact that this problem wasn't ecomonically based in the first place.

So far I have had the boys strip a roof (used contractor to put on the roof) - resulted in boys in landfill jail for not having the cash (I did not know no credit cards) - boys claim there were 7 layers, take down 2 large trees, add 3 sister boards to a garage rafter, build 2 fence segments including an 8’ high fence, add dumpster stops to concrete to prevent fence damage, add privacy screen to a chain link fence (took surprisingly long - hog rings really do not work well), remove and rebuild a privacy partition on to a wall, rehang a gate with better hinges, weed an abandoned yard (unit caught fire in oct and due to Corona work has stopped - slightly wet winter and weeds were 4’ tall), plant a new citrus tree.

“Previously, if a married couple had depreciation deductions that exceeded their real estate business income, the couple could claim that "loss" to write off taxes on a maximum of $500,000 in income from other sources, like wages from a day job.Under the change, our rich taxpayer couple -- and this applies only for individuals, not corporations -- can now deduct an unlimited amount of "excess losses" in real estate against income from other sources.
