Hey I’m 17, living in the US and I’m trying to learn about real estate investing, what are the steps in this business, what’s the best way to go about it and I think a discord would be really helpful for me to understand.

Most states require you to be licensed to perform a wholesale deal in which you negotiate a contract, market that property and contract and then assign it for a fee.

The point is to profit by finding a great deal on a property, then passing the deal on to another investor willing to pay more.

I've been hearing advertisements frequently on podcasts, but I feel a bit confused and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

It's been a huge help.

I own a duplex in Cincinnati, rented out to section 8 tenants.

I hire a property manager and I have never in 10+ years of having a PM had a tenant reach out to me, if they got upset or had a complaint they dealt with the property manager.

I am moving into a bigger home for me and my family and have decided to keep our current residence as a rental.
