Who knows, we really can't find out much about their problems until we buy the note.Other risks are minimized like getting insurance on a property, so if it burns, or has mold or whatever, you can use that to protect your asset/investment.

Here's a book to buy, read and study: Robert J Ringer, 'Winning through Intimidation" and it's an intentiinally mistitled book in how not to be intimated by others.Whether you salvage something from this deal or not, it ought to motivate you to spend mire time crafting your deals, engineering their structure, drafting the documents and vetting your buyers.

The letter includes a timeline of communications with my contractor stating that he contacted them to let them know the asphalt was on its way to the site and was told at that time that permits had not yet been issued.I was told that while it was the County's right to order me to rip out the driveway, they were willing to take core samples to assess the compactness and depth of it's base, and have a engineering assessment conducted at my expense and, pending the outcome, possibly issue a retroactive permit.
