I purchased a house in the Lacey, WA in 2019 that has seen steady appreciation  recently but we are now seeing distribution centers popping up just miles from our house.

Does anyone have any insight on what large construction of distribution centers (Amazon like hubs) can have on local residential real estate?

@Marc Estepa a lot of those banks you are finding such as Chase, Bank of America and Wells Fargo all operate call centers out here but have no banking operations.

For a reference to size, that's a standard 12 gauge shotgun shell in the center.

Also it sounds like you could hit more real estate profit centers (tenant paydown, cashflow, appreciation, depreciation, inflation hedge). 

I'm interested in buying and holding, with some flips thrown in there, centered in the Houston area, at least for the time being.
