The property doesn't need much, a new roof (it's leaking) and some minor interior work here and there, mostly drywall and a window or two.

We want to expedite the projects, especially the kitchen, on the existing home.The big projects include tearing down a load bearing wall to open up the kitchen, remodeling the kitchen, flooring in bedrooms, both baths and new paint interior & exterior.

I performed a major renovation (down to studs) changing the interior layout, rewiring, and plumbing.

We added value by updating the roof, furnace, water heater, Central Air, and then doing a decent sized renovation on the interior.

There is one interior wall that I would open up to make the kitchen and living room flow together.

Would a home inspector tell me everything from the internals of the home to the cosmetics to the externals?

Typically only the interior resulting damage as the dam itself typically doesn't actually damage the roof (unless it does - that's why this is situational) or the sheathing. 

I added an interior stairway to the basement washer/dryer area so my tenants can stay in the house slippers and jammies when doing laundry.

I could buy a new one, but interior and exterior are great, no rattle etc, I don't feel compelled...

I also have a couple of international agricultural investments but have not yet received any income from them (but will soon).
