If an HOA board votes to buy a new product for the community common usage, such as a new entry point access control system, are they able to depreciate that hardware in any way?

Hi all, I just got into the podcast a few months ago with my brother who is also from Portland, now starting to read the recommended guides/books and get involved in the community!

I'm making my way into REI and so far, while the market is very competitive I'm my area (Hudson / Bergen counties in NJ), I'm finding properties which are worth, at minimum, analyzing well and making some offers.That said, I could really use some recommendations/referrals to general contractors and so I'm hoping the BP community could help!

Now with regards to a lender...your best bet is going to be a local community bank and/or credit union.
