New Investor from Portland, OR

Hi all, 

I just got into the podcast a few months ago with my brother who is also from Portland, now starting to read the recommended guides/books and get involved in the community!

We've just started to put our business plan together and are interested in renting single and multifamily properties around the greater Portland Metro Area. 

Any advise on getting started in our or any other market would be very welcome.
