I haven't seen a copy of the appraisal yet, but I'm just afraid they will completely ignore a my offer, which will be much lower than the appraised value.My question is this...

I understand that I won't be building any equity by purchasing a leasehold, and I do need to get additional permits and pay additional taxes if I want to do this legally.The reason why I would want to do this is because it's cheap to acquire a leasehold condo and the monthly revenues from rent could easily take care of the mortgage, lease rent, fees, and taxes.What things am I not looking at?

I have still not purchased a turnkey property yet nor am I affiliated with anyone; so all of the above is just my personal rant.

Where am I saying that I'm continuing with them?

Thanks @Owen SchwaegerleGreatly appreciate the reply, as this is a multifamily couldn't I get a break on survey, environmental report, possibly transfer same insurance into place etc...Is it even possible to negotiate a loan assumption or am I stretching?
