I'm bullish on Self Storage investing and have been for quite some time, especially as we stand on the precipice of who-knows-what regarding the market, economy, and so forth.Self Storage has proven to be historically Recession-Resistant mainly because we're in the Transition & Trauma business, and as long as (unfortunately) there's divorce, death, down-sizing, & so forth, and as long as Americans are addicted to our stuff, there's going to be a need for Self Storage, basically 7 SQ FT per person all across this land.

If so repoint that stuff and collect your rent.Fractures through brick (as opposed to along mortar lines) is typically a red flag for stability, but as it is a veneer, that isn’t as big a deal.Make sure the veneer is plumb.

I've never inherited a tenant with a property purchase, nor have I served an eviction, but I am faced now with the prospect of buying a good property/location where the tenant has a few red flags.

She also told me that she has put the tenant's name on some website most of the property managers use in North Carolina so the tenant will be flagged if she applies for new rental.It's been more than a year and I a not seeing any movement on this.

If not, id take that as a red/warning flag against it (trust me... been there done that and wouldn't recommend taking the risk without ample time on the ground).
