That is enough to scare most people away.I had a structural engineer come out and tell me how bad he thought the foundation was.  

The new space would be used as the kitchen, so either tile or wood floors.I'll try your suggestion of reverse engineering the price on a new build, that's a great idea, thanks!

But these tools don't replace actually physically spending time in the area. 

Is it worth it to replace those two issues?

Its more like, imagine you can use a well established RECF platform of your choice as a template, replace the logo and company info with your own, and wala you have a RECF platform. 

The DEC office is a good place to contact as they may have info on existing well depth and septic issues, as well as engineer's reports on specific subdivisions.
