I love the benefits of investing in income producing property and I'm looking to connect with other investors in the Rochester NY market!

What is common is to get into a place and pay less than rent would be while getting some tax benefits and building some equity.  

Gross proceeds means any cash received or to be received for the real property by or on behalf of the transferor, including the stated principal amount of a note payable to or for the benefit of the transferor and including a note or mortgage paid off at settlement."

You don't have to take on the former, if you only want the benefits of the latter.
