I have gotten complete newbies 90% before because they had great credit and the project was nice and cookie cutter with a good spread in a B neighborhood. 

Options you might think through would be appreciation - is your area / property  appreciating to where it might make sense to hold onto the property for it to build value.  

Stay in the job and snowball all my mortgages and let life coast or get off a job still snowball slowly and live life slower.Initially, when I purchased my first apartment building 10 years ago, I did it because I was curious.

Compare what you see to the deed etc - there could be a shared driveway or some other easement.Also if the building is occupied you will be dealing with an eviction as well so you will have to factor that into your costs/bid.

I dealt with this for months until my inability to find a large construction company to build a double sided fire escape on this property forced me to sell it.

Hello, I am realtor/PM in the wesley chapel area and have 2 rentals in that neighborhood.

After one summer of STRs I came back in the winter took a first lean mortgage on the property to replace the roof (and build my RV which I plan on living in while renting in the summer).

I told them that it was a better idea that, instead of buying a home first, we can buy an investment property and keep renting after we build some equity, sell it and put the down payment for 2 houses or a duplex and live in one and rent the other one (for me, i could keep renting until we buy a lot of investment properties and then move to one of them), but my family wants to buy a home firts and then the investment property.Can someone give me a light of what is better or the pros and cons.Thank you so much.
