But we came back in 2012 where we lived at my mother's for a couple years.

I grew up with a single-parent (mother) flipping houses and moving each year after the improvements.

Hey all,With my first cash flowing deal in place now, It's time for me and the GF to try and move out of an apartment (her mothers 3 family house) and grab a home to house hack.We will be looking mainly in Queens and maybe Brooklyn, not sure we can afford the ladder.Well probably (99%) have to use an FHA loan. 

Perhaps you have a tenant who is a single mother that can't pay rent this month because her child got sick, but you know that you have to evict her or you might end up losing the property. 

Am I wrong in assuming your mother has some income coming in?

Mother was lucky to get a job as an SEIU janitor. 

She told me she's a homeowner (mother actually owns the home) and my tenants are renters.
