My big concern is that if I do buy the property, say between October - March, what will I do about the vacancies?

I wrapped mine up in March, and went back to him in May and he said they weren't writing them until things settle down.I refi'ed 4 properties into 1 commercial loan, but kept it in my name.

If you start the lease January 1st 2015, end it July 31st 2016 and renew it at that time at the market price, or end the lease March 31st 2017, as in Spring you will rent it again for top dollar.I think it will be better for you to have the place rented over the winter at a lower rent than keep it vacant.

@Ben Taub they dropped the investment property lending back around March of 2022.

File all your paperwork and start marching towards the eviction process ... 

Additionally, I read earlier today that you held cash in the bank and readily deployed in March when stocks were down and have since made decent profits.

We just had buyers who purchased two STRs in March & then a 3rd one last week. 

They usually arrive in November and depart end of February before college spring break begins in March.
