Ownership only passes to the buyer after the final payment is made.

There are even reasons to stretch this into Tenant with a Really Good Reason, but most of the problems I come across in OKC fall into the Tenant for a Reason category (can't qualify for a loan, can't hold down a job, can't keep my sh&* together, etc).
