In order for it to work (numbers) I would have to go in and convert it to 4-6 smaller units by extending the structure a bit (space allows) and reframing to allow for multiple units.

The rents will catch up to where you need them to be eventually, just be realistic that if you are 95% leveraged today, you wont cash flow today.

I i eventually marked it down to unload and move on to new projects.

Anyone have luck converting apartments into STR in regards to speaking with the leasing department?

and now that i look back ithink iknow what might have flagged me and eventually banning me from the platform. iwas on my way to Chicago and ihave heard about airbnb at that time but never cared to use it as inever really went anywhere besides that one time iwas going to an event.i then made an account last minute (an hr before arriving to Chicago) and started making a reservation.

Absentee owners seem to convert better.
